Four men have been arrested on suspicion of murder following a house fire on the Isle of Wight in which a man's body was discovered. The incident occurred in the early hours of Friday morning, according to police reports.
Officers arrested two 24-year-old men and a 59-year-old man in connection with the suspected arson attack. A fourth man, also aged 24, was later arrested on suspicion of murder. All four remain in custody for questioning.
The victim, a young man, was found deceased inside the burnt-out property. Authorities have not yet released his identity pending formal identification and notification of next of kin.
Detectives from Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary are leading the investigation and are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with information to come forward. The cause of the fire is being treated as suspicious.
