The International Higher Institute of Tourism in Tangier (ISITT) announced the launch of a new higher education program titled 'Tourism Engineering and Integrated Territorial Development' for the 2026-2027 academic year. The program aims to train specialists capable of designing sustainable tourism strategies that promote local development.
According to the institute's official communication, the curriculum will cover topics such as territorial planning, tourism project management, digital tools for tourism, and sustainable development. The program is designed to respond to the growing demand for professionals who can integrate tourism with regional economic growth.
The new track will be open to students holding a bachelor's degree (Licence) or equivalent in tourism, management, geography, or related fields. The selection process will include a review of academic records and an interview, as per standard ISITT admission procedures.
This initiative aligns with Morocco's national tourism strategy, which emphasizes the development of diversified and sustainable tourism products across different regions. ISITT, established in 1996, is a public institution under the Ministry of Tourism, offering undergraduate and graduate programs in tourism management.
