Ipswich Town have completed the signing of Morocco international defender Issa Diop from Fulham for an undisclosed fee, the club announced on Thursday.
The 29-year-old center-back, who has made five appearances for Morocco, including during their run to the quarter-finals of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, has signed a contract with the Premier League club.
Diop, who began his career at Toulouse before moving to West Ham United in 2018, joined Fulham in 2022. He made 68 appearances for the Cottagers across all competitions.
Ipswich manager Kieran McKenna expressed his delight at the signing, stating that Diop's experience and quality will strengthen the squad as the club prepares for the upcoming season.
