Moncef Belkhayat, founder and CEO of H&S Group, has transformed a small trading company into a major Moroccan conglomerate with a consolidated revenue of €605 million as of 2025, according to the company's latest financial reports. The group, headquartered in Casablanca, operates in sectors including automotive, aerospace, and industrial equipment.
Belkhayat acquired the initial company, a modest trading enterprise, in 2005. Over the following two decades, H&S Group expanded through a series of strategic acquisitions, including the purchase of several European and Moroccan firms in the automotive supply chain. The group now employs over 3,500 people across Morocco and Europe.
Key acquisitions include the 2018 purchase of French automotive parts manufacturer MGI Coutier's Moroccan subsidiary, and the 2021 acquisition of German engineering firm KST. These moves helped H&S Group become a key supplier to Renault, Peugeot, and other automakers operating in North Africa.
Despite economic challenges in Morocco, including inflation and supply chain disruptions, H&S Group reported a 12% increase in revenue in 2025 compared to the previous year. The company's growth strategy focuses on vertical integration and expanding into new markets, particularly in sub-Saharan Africa.
Belkhayat, who also served as Morocco's Minister of Youth and Sports from 2009 to 2012, has stated that the group aims to reach €1 billion in revenue by 2030 through further acquisitions and organic growth.
