The 2025-26 high school boys basketball regular season has concluded, with state athletic associations across the United States publishing their final group and conference rankings. These rankings are used to determine seeding for upcoming state championship tournaments.

In New Jersey, the NJSIAA released its final power point and UPR (United Power Ranking) standings, which seed teams for the upcoming sectional and group tournaments. Top-ranked teams across various groups include contenders from schools like Roselle Catholic, Camden, and St. Rose, based on their performance throughout the winter season.

Similarly, in states like Ohio and Illinois, final RPI or similar metric-based rankings have been set by the OHSAA and IHSA, respectively, to structure their playoff brackets. The rankings reflect a team's win-loss record, strength of schedule, and opponents' winning percentage.

The focus now shifts to the postseason, where these final rankings will be put to the test. Tournament play is scheduled to begin in late February and early March 2026 across most states, culminating in state championship games throughout March.
