HARMAN International, a subsidiary of Samsung Electronics, unveiled Sing Drive, an AI-powered in-car karaoke platform, at Auto Shanghai 2026 on April 29, 2026. The solution integrates with vehicle audio systems to provide real-time vocal enhancement, echo cancellation, and a library of licensed songs, aiming to turn the cabin into a social entertainment space.
According to HARMAN's press release, Sing Drive uses machine learning to adapt to the driver's voice and reduce background noise, ensuring clear vocals. The platform supports multiple microphones for passengers and includes a scoring system for friendly competition. It is designed to work with both electric and internal combustion engine vehicles.
The announcement aligns with growing consumer demand for in-car experiences beyond transportation. HARMAN stated that Sing Drive will be available to automakers for integration starting in the second half of 2026, with initial partnerships expected with Chinese automotive brands. Pricing and specific vehicle models were not disclosed.
