Dicker Data, a leading Australian IT distributor, has announced the launch of a new managed security service provider (MSSP) model in partnership with CrowdStrike for the Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) region. The program is designed to enable channel partners to offer CrowdStrike's Falcon cybersecurity platform as a managed service.
According to the announcement, the MSSP model allows partners to provide endpoint protection, threat intelligence, and incident response services without requiring significant upfront investment. Dicker Data will handle the backend infrastructure and licensing, while partners focus on customer relationships and service delivery.
This initiative comes as demand for managed security services grows among small and medium-sized businesses in ANZ, which often lack in-house cybersecurity expertise. CrowdStrike's Falcon platform is recognized for its cloud-native architecture and AI-driven threat detection capabilities.
