Guillaume Autier is a French politician who served as Minister of Transport in the government of Prime Minister Γlisabeth Borne from July 2023 to January 2024. He was appointed to the position following a cabinet reshuffle.
Prior to his ministerial role, Autier was a member of the National Assembly for the 5th constituency of French residents abroad, representing French citizens living in Northern Europe. He was elected in 2022 under the banner of the Renaissance party, which supports President Emmanuel Macron.
During his tenure as Transport Minister, Autier focused on railway infrastructure projects and the transition to greener transportation. He resigned in January 2024 amid a government reshuffle and was succeeded by Patrice Vergriete.
