SAN JOSE, Calif. (AP) โ Antoine Griezmann scored in his MLS debut, David Brekalo and Ivรกn Angulo each scored his first goal of the season, and Orlando City beat the San Jose Earthquakes 4-0 on Wednesday night.
Griezmann, the French World Cup winner who joined Orlando City earlier this month, opened the scoring in the 23rd minute with a left-footed shot from outside the box. Brekalo made it 2-0 in the 38th minute with a header off a corner kick.
Angulo added a goal in the 52nd minute, and substitute Duncan McGuire scored in the 78th minute to complete the rout. Orlando City goalkeeper Pedro Gallese made three saves for the clean sheet.
The Earthquakes, who have lost four straight, were without leading scorer Cristian Espinoza due to injury. San Jose fell to 6-12-5, while Orlando improved to 10-7-6.
