At its annual Made by Google event on August 13, 2026, Google officially announced the Pixel 11 series, including the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, and Pixel 11 Pro XL. The devices are powered by the new Tensor G6 chip, which Google says delivers a 20% performance boost and improved on-device AI capabilities.
The Pixel 11 features a 6.3-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, while the Pro models offer a 6.8-inch LTPO panel. The camera system includes a new 50MP main sensor, a 48MP ultrawide, and a 64MP periscope telephoto lens on the Pro variants. Google highlighted its new 'Magic Editor Pro' AI tool, which allows users to remove objects and people from photos with a single tap.
Google also introduced the Pixel 11a, a budget-friendly option with a 6.1-inch display and a 48MP camera. All devices run Android 16 and will receive seven years of OS and security updates. Pre-orders begin today, with prices starting at $799 for the Pixel 11 and $999 for the Pixel 11 Pro.
The event also showcased the Pixel Watch 5 and Pixel Buds Pro 3, which will be available later this fall. Google emphasized its commitment to sustainability, noting that the Pixel 11 series uses 30% recycled materials in its construction.
