GOIL PLC officially launched its 2026 Health, Safety, Security, Environment, and Quality (HSSEQ) Week on April 29, 2026, reaffirming its commitment to HSSEQ excellence. The week-long celebration is themed “Promoting a Positive Psychosocial Wellbeing in the Workplace.”
The launch event, held at GOIL’s head office in Accra, was attended by senior management, staff, and stakeholders. The Managing Director, Mr. Kwame Agyeman, emphasized the importance of mental health and psychosocial support in achieving operational safety and productivity.
Activities planned for the week include health screenings, safety drills, and workshops on stress management and work-life balance. GOIL aims to foster a culture where employees feel supported and valued, aligning with global best practices in occupational health and safety.
