A secondary school student was caught on dashcam footage dashing across a road in Pasir Ris and into the path of an oncoming vehicle on Tuesday (May 5). The incident happened at about 2.30pm at Pasir Ris Drive 6, in the vicinity of Hai Sing Catholic School.
The dashcam video, shared on social media, shows the girl running from the side of the road and crossing without looking, causing a car to brake sharply to avoid hitting her. The driver was not injured, and no collision occurred.
Police confirmed they are aware of the incident and are investigating. No arrests have been made. The girl's school has been notified, and authorities are reminding pedestrians to use designated crossings.
