French Minister of the Armed Forces Sébastien Lecornu emphasized the strategic nature of economic cooperation between France and Morocco during a press conference following a high-level meeting on July 17, 2026.
“Our two countries are working to create new synergies between their companies in order to integrate them into the same value chains,” Lecornu said, according to official statements.
The meeting, which took place in Rabat, focused on deepening bilateral ties in defense, energy, and technology sectors. No specific agreements were announced, but both sides expressed commitment to enhancing collaboration.
This initiative aligns with broader efforts to strengthen Franco-Moroccan relations, which have seen increased cooperation in recent years.
