Police in Ghana's Bono Region are investigating an incident in which a farmer allegedly killed his wife and then died by suicide. The incident occurred in the Dormaa East District, according to local authorities.
The suspect, whose name has not been officially released, is said to have attacked his wife with a weapon before taking his own life. The bodies were discovered at their residence, prompting a police investigation.
Neighbors reported hearing an argument from the couple's home prior to the incident. Police have not confirmed a motive but are treating the case as a domestic violence-related murder-suicide.
