Gardai in Dublin are appealing for witnesses following a fatal road traffic collision in Finglas early this morning, May 31, 2026. A man in his 20s died after the single-vehicle crash on the R135 at around 2:30 a.m.
The incident occurred near the junction with McKee Road. The man, who was the sole occupant of the car, was pronounced dead at the scene. His body has been removed to the Dublin City Morgue where a post-mortem examination will take place.
Gardai have appealed for any witnesses or road users who may have dash-cam footage to contact Finglas Garda Station on 01 666 7500, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda station.
Investigations are ongoing, and no arrests have been made at this time. The road was closed for a period to allow for a forensic examination but has since reopened.
