Gardaí are appealing for the public's assistance in identifying one of the vehicles involved in a fatal road traffic collision that occurred on the N21 between Abbeyfeale and Newcastle West, County Limerick, on Monday, June 8, 2026.
The collision involved three cars and took place at approximately 6:45 p.m. One man, aged in his 60s, was pronounced dead at the scene. Two other individuals were taken to University Hospital Limerick for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
Gardaí are particularly seeking information about a dark-colored vehicle that may have been in the area at the time of the crash. They are asking any witnesses or anyone with dash-cam footage to contact Newcastle West Garda Station at 069 20650, the Garda Confidential Line at 1800 666 111, or any Garda station.
