Five suspects have been charged before a Milimani court in Nairobi in connection with an alleged plot to break into the home of a senior Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) officer in Kitengela, Kajiado County. The accused face charges of conspiracy and preparation to commit a felony.
The Milimani court granted the five suspects a cash bail of KSh500,000 each pending the hearing and determination of the case. The suspects were required to meet the bail conditions before being released from custody.
The alleged plot targeted the residence of a senior KDF general based in Kitengela. Kenyan authorities moved to charge the suspects after investigations into the alleged conspiracy were conducted by security agencies.
