Tokyo Metropolitan Police have arrested two men in connection with the theft of Pokémon cards valued at approximately ¥34 million from a delivery vehicle, according to official statements released on May 25, 2026. The incident occurred earlier this month when a delivery truck parked in a logistics center in Tokyo was broken into. The thieves made off with a large quantity of rare Pokémon trading cards, which were destined for a retail store.
