East Carolina University's baseball team defeated Florida Atlantic University 7-5 on May 14, 2026, in Boca Raton, Florida, starting their final regular-season series with a win.
The Pirates scored four runs in the top of the first inning and added three more in the fifth to build a 7-1 lead. FAU rallied with four runs in the bottom of the seventh, but ECU's bullpen held on for the victory.
ECU improved to 35-17 overall and 16-10 in American Athletic Conference play. FAU fell to 28-24 and 13-13 in conference.
