FIFA has announced the match schedule for the 2026 FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup, to be held in Morocco from October 17 to November 8, 2026. This marks the 10th edition of the tournament and the first time Morocco hosts a FIFA women's competition.
Host nation Morocco will open the tournament in Group A against New Zealand on October 17 at 18:00 local time. They will then face Germany on October 20 and Argentina on October 23, both at the same time. The group stage runs from October 17 to 26, with the knockout rounds starting October 30.
The tournament features 16 teams divided into four groups. Other notable teams include defending champions Spain, Brazil, Japan, and the United States. The final is scheduled for November 8 at a venue to be confirmed.
FIFA President Gianni Infantino said the event will showcase the growth of women's football in Africa. Morocco previously hosted the 2022 Africa Cup of Nations and the 2023 FIFA Club World Cup.
