Kuala Lumpur traffic police chief Zamzuri Isa confirmed that a driver was arrested after a white Mercedes-Benz pushed through a roadblock early Saturday morning. The incident occurred at 12:15 AM while police were conducting inspections on the road from Sri Hartamas towards the Kerinchi Link.
A video clip of the incident was posted online, showing the vehicle moving through the checkpoint. Police reported that the driver appeared nervous during the incident.
Authorities have not released further details about the driver's identity or whether any charges have been filed. The investigation is ongoing.
