Cameroon's Danpullo Air Line has announced a $500 million investment plan to revolutionize the country's aviation sector. The project, led by businessman Baba Ahmadou Danpullo, aims to establish a new national airline with modern aircraft and expanded routes.
According to reports, the airline plans to operate domestic and international flights, connecting Cameroon to major African and global destinations. The investment includes the acquisition of Boeing and Airbus aircraft, as well as the development of maintenance facilities.
However, the project is pending approval from Cameroon's civil aviation authority. Danpullo, a prominent businessman with interests in real estate and agriculture, has faced previous controversies over business practices. The airline's launch date remains unconfirmed.
