The General Confederation of Moroccan Enterprises (CGEM) has unveiled its strategic roadmap for 2026-2028, presented by its president Mehdi Tazi and vice-president Mohamed Bachiri. The plan aims to boost Morocco's economic competitiveness, attract investment, and create jobs.
Key pillars include improving the business climate, supporting digital transformation, and promoting sustainable development. The roadmap also emphasizes strengthening public-private partnerships and enhancing the skills of the workforce.
According to CGEM officials, the initiative responds to current economic challenges and seeks to position Morocco as a regional hub for innovation and industry. Specific targets include increasing the contribution of the private sector to GDP and reducing unemployment among youth.
