The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) has dismissed the appeal filed by the Senegalese Football Federation (FSF) against its disqualification from the men's football tournament at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. The decision, announced on March 21, 2026, upholds an earlier ruling by FIFA.

Senegal was disqualified after fielding an overage player, defender Amadou Sagna, during the CAF U-23 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Burkina Faso in July 2023. The tournament served as the Olympic qualifying event for Africa.

CAS stated that the FSF's appeal was "inadmissible" as it was filed outside the prescribed time limits. The federation had argued that the player's age was incorrectly registered by his former club, but the procedural deadline for appeal had passed.

As a result of the disqualification, Senegal will not participate in the men's football competition at the Paris 2024 Olympics. The decision is final and binding, concluding the legal process on this matter.
