The Bourbon County Community Theatre has announced its first-ever musical production, 'Willy Wonka', scheduled for summer 2026. The show will be based on the classic Roald Dahl story, featuring songs from the 1971 film adaptation.
According to the theatre's official announcement, auditions are expected to be held in early 2026, with performances planned for June and July. The production marks a significant milestone for the community theatre, which has previously focused on straight plays.
