Lionsgate has announced a new imagining of 'The Blair Witch Project,' with horror director Dylan Clark set to helm the reboot. Original stars Joshua Leonard and Michael C. Williams will serve as executive producers, according to a studio press release dated April 30, 2026.
Clark, known for his work on the horror film 'The Dark and the Wicked,' will direct from a script by writer Simon Barrett. The project is described as a fresh take on the 1999 found-footage classic, which grossed over $248 million worldwide on a $60,000 budget.
