Bajaj Auto has launched the all-new Pulsar 125 and Pulsar 150 motorcycles in India, aiming to strengthen its position in the highly competitive 125cc-150cc segment. The new models feature updated styling, improved engine performance, and enhanced features compared to their predecessors.
The Pulsar 125 is powered by a 124.4cc engine, while the Pulsar 150 retains its 149.5cc engine. Both models comply with the latest BS6 emission norms and offer better fuel efficiency. Bajaj Auto has priced the new Pulsar 125 starting at around ₹81,000 (ex-showroom) and the Pulsar 150 at approximately ₹1.05 lakh (ex-showroom).
These launches are part of Bajaj Auto's strategy to regain market share in the premium commuter segment, where it faces stiff competition from Hero MotoCorp, Honda, and TVS. The Pulsar brand has been a key contributor to Bajaj's sales, and the company expects the new models to appeal to young buyers with their sporty design and performance.
Bajaj Auto reported a 5% increase in total motorcycle sales in August 2026, with domestic sales showing signs of recovery. The company aims to further boost volumes with the refreshed Pulsar lineup, which will be available across dealerships from September 2026.
