The BAIC BJ30e, a new hybrid SUV from the Chinese automaker, has been officially launched for the Moroccan market. The vehicle is being offered with a starting price of 299,000 Moroccan dirhams (DH).
According to official specifications, the BJ30e is a plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV). It features a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine paired with an electric motor. The combined system output is officially rated at 404 horsepower and 600 Newton-meters of torque.
The SUV is positioned as a competitor in the growing hybrid segment in Morocco. Its launch price under 300,000 DH aims to make it an accessible option for consumers interested in electrified vehicles.
BAIC's local distributor is handling sales and service for the model. The vehicle's arrival is part of a broader trend of Chinese automakers expanding their presence in the North African automotive market with new energy vehicles.
