The Confederation of African Football (CAF) confirmed the new dates and host country. Morocco will also host the 2025 Men's Africa Cup of Nations, making it a busy year for Moroccan football.
The tournament will feature 12 teams, including defending champions Nigeria, who won the 2024 edition. Other qualified teams include South Africa, Ghana, and Zambia. The expanded format allows for more competitive matches across the continent.
