French MMA standout Salahdine Parnasse has officially signed with the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) and will headline the promotion's event in Paris on September 28, 2026, at the Accor Arena. The announcement was made by UFC officials on July 26, 2026.
Parnasse, a former KSW featherweight and lightweight champion, brings a 19-2 record to the UFC. He is known for his striking and grappling skills, having competed primarily in the Polish organization KSW since 2017.
The Paris event marks the UFC's return to the French capital, following previous successful events in 2022 and 2023. Parnasse's opponent has not yet been announced, but the bout is expected to be at featherweight (145 lbs).
Parnasse expressed excitement about fighting in his home country, stating, 'This is a dream come true. I've worked my whole life for this moment.' The UFC has not confirmed the full card for the September event.
