Adviser to the Prime Minister on Political Affairs Rana Sanaullah has denied any promise or deal with the Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) for the post of Sindh governor. He stated that such reports are baseless and that no such agreement exists.
Sanaullah made these remarks during a media interaction in Islamabad. He emphasized that the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and its coalition partners are focused on governance and addressing public issues, not on political bargaining for constitutional posts.
The statement comes amid ongoing political discussions regarding the allocation of key positions within the Sindh province following the formation of the current federal government. The governor's post in Sindh has been a topic of speculation among political circles.
Separately, Sanaullah confirmed that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has been engaged in diplomatic outreach, including contacts with regional leaders, but did not provide specific details about recent calls or travels in this context.
