Israeli forces opened fire on a car in the occupied West Bank on Saturday, killing four members of a Palestinian family, including two young boys, according to Palestinian officials. The incident occurred near the village of Beit Ummar, north of Hebron.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health identified the deceased as a man, his wife, and their two sons, aged 5 and 7. The family was reportedly returning from a visit after breaking the Ramadan fast. The Israeli military stated that soldiers fired at a vehicle that had accelerated toward them, suspecting it was involved in hostile activity. An investigation has been opened.
