Canada's Kerri Einarson maintained a perfect record at the 2026 LGT World Women's Curling Championship with a 9-6 victory over Denmark's Madeleine Dupont on Monday, March 16. The win at the WinSport Arena in Calgary improved Team Einarson's round-robin record to 3-0.
The Manitoba-based team, representing the Gimli Curling Club, secured the victory with a decisive three-point score in the ninth end. The match was a tight contest until that pivotal moment, testing the Canadian rink early in the tournament.
Einarson, with vice-skip Val Sweeting, second Shannon Birchard, and lead Briane Harris, is aiming to reclaim the world title for Canada. The host nation last won the women's championship in 2018.
The 2026 championship, which runs until March 22, features 13 teams competing for the world title. Canada's next match in the round-robin stage is scheduled against Italy's Stefania Constantini.
