Emails released as part of a 2024 court filing show that Washington, D.C.-based political consultant Doug Glover corresponded with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein in 2014. The messages, first reported by Politico, included Glover pitching various hypothetical centrist political tickets for a future presidential election, such as "Biden/Romney" and "Bloomberg/Haley."

The correspondence, which Glover described as "fantasy politics," was a small part of a broader trove of documents unsealed in a lawsuit linked to Epstein. Glover, a founder of the consulting firm GSG, stated in 2024 that he regretted the association and had met Epstein only once at a social gathering, seeking his perspective as a "successful entrepreneur."

Epstein was a financier who pleaded guilty in 2008 to procuring a minor for prostitution and was indicted on federal sex trafficking charges in 2019 before dying by suicide in jail. The release of documents naming his associates has continued through various court proceedings.

The emails do not suggest Glover was involved in any criminal activity. They highlight the extent of Epstein's network within elite political and business circles prior to his federal indictment.
