The Toronto Blue Jays concluded their 2026 spring training schedule with a 4-3 victory over the New York Mets at Clover Park in Port St. Lucie, Florida on Sunday, March 15. The game served as the final Grapefruit League tune-up for both clubs before Opening Day.

Blue Jays starter Yariel Rodriguez delivered a strong performance, pitching four scoreless innings and allowing just one hit while striking out four Mets batters. The Jays' offense was led by catcher Danny Jansen, who hit a two-run home run in the second inning, and first baseman Spencer Horwitz, who added an RBI double.

The Mets mounted a late comeback attempt in the ninth inning, scoring three runs, but ultimately fell short. Mets starter Jose Butto took the loss, surrendering three runs over four innings of work. Both teams are now set to break camp and prepare for the start of the 2026 Major League Baseball regular season later this week.
