Chinese President Xi Jinping sent a congratulatory message to the 10th Summit of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC), which was held in Kingstown, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. The summit took place on March 1, 2026.

In his message, President Xi stated that China is willing to work with Latin American and Caribbean countries to promote the building of a China-Latin America community with a shared future for the new era. He emphasized the importance of jointly advancing modernization and enhancing the well-being of peoples on both sides.

The summit, under the theme "Unity for a Sustainable Future," brought together leaders and representatives from the 33 member states of CELAC to discuss regional integration and development. China has been an observer to CELAC since 2014 and has consistently supported the bloc's development and regional unity.
