Two truck drivers successfully fought off a pair of armed carjackers at a service station in Melbourne's northern suburbs. The incident occurred on the evening of March 21, 2026, at a United service station on Mickleham Road in Greenvale.

Video footage captured by witnesses and verified by police shows the two drivers physically confronting the would-be thieves, who were armed with a knife and a firearm. The altercation took place in the station's car park as the drivers were refueling their truck.

Victoria Police confirmed the incident, stating the offenders fled the scene in a stolen silver Toyota Camry. No one was injured during the confrontation. Detectives from the Armed Crime Squad are investigating and have appealed for public assistance to locate the offenders.
