Sportswear giants Puma and Adidas have begun unveiling national team kits for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Puma officially launched the new home jersey for the Argentina national team, the defending champions, on March 18, 2026. The design features the iconic light blue and white stripes with a subtle pattern inspired by the country's flag.

Adidas, meanwhile, has released the new home kit for Portugal. The red jersey incorporates a tonal graphic pattern and modernized crew neck collar. Both manufacturers are expected to reveal kits for other federations in the coming months as teams prepare for the expanded 48-team tournament.

The 2026 FIFA World Cup will be hosted jointly by the United States, Canada, and Mexico. The tournament is scheduled to begin on June 11, 2026. The release of new kits is a standard commercial and promotional activity in the years leading up to a major football championship.
