According to the auction house, this specific Ferrari 308 GTS, chassis number 29231, was used for all driving scenes in the first season after the pilot episode. It was later sold by the production company in the mid-1980s. The car has since been part of a private collection and has undergone a comprehensive restoration to its original 'Magnum P.I.' specification.
