Heavy Rainfall Hits Moroccan Regions, Immouzzer Leads

Significant rainfall was recorded across several regions of Morocco over a recent 24-hour period. According to data from the Directorate of National Meteorology (DMN), the commune of Immouzzer-Idda Outanane in the Souss-Massa region recorded the highest precipitation total of 31 millimeters.

Other areas also experienced substantial rainfall. The town of Sidi Bennour followed with 25 mm, while the Agadir-Inezgane prefecture registered 16 mm. The rainfall is part of a weather pattern affecting the country, bringing much-needed precipitation to various provinces.

Meteorological authorities have been monitoring the situation, providing updates on precipitation levels. Such rainfall events are crucial for water reserves and agriculture, though they can also lead to localized flooding. Officials advise residents in affected areas to remain cautious.
