The Hassan II Foundation for Moroccans Residing Abroad (MRE) is organizing an exhibition titled "Traces sur Rivages" at its Espace Rivages in Rabat. The event pays tribute to sixty contemporary Moroccan artists living abroad who have exhibited at the venue over the past ten years.
According to the Foundation's official communications, the artists reside in various countries including France, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Italy, Spain, Canada, and the United States. The exhibition aims to highlight their contributions to the contemporary art scene and their connection to Morocco.
The Espace Rivages, a cultural venue under the Foundation, regularly hosts artistic and cultural events to promote the work of the Moroccan diaspora. The "Traces sur Rivages" exhibition is presented as a retrospective celebrating a decade of artistic programming and engagement with the community of Moroccan artists worldwide.
