Queens Park Rangers midfielder Harvey Vale has been called up to the Republic of Ireland senior squad for the upcoming UEFA Nations League match against the Czech Republic in Prague. The 22-year-old, who is on loan from Chelsea, received his first senior international call-up on Thursday, March 19, 2026.

Vale's inclusion comes as manager John O'Shea seeks to bolster his midfield options. The player is eligible for Ireland through his grandmother and has previously represented England at youth level. His call-up follows strong recent performances for QPR in the Championship.

The Republic of Ireland will face the Czech Republic at the Fortuna Arena in Prague on Monday, March 23, 2026, in their opening match of the new UEFA Nations League campaign. This match marks Ireland's first competitive fixture under interim manager John O'Shea.
