France national team coach Didier Deschamps has announced his squad for the upcoming friendly matches in the United States. The team will face Brazil on March 23 and Colombia on March 26 as part of their preparations for future competitions.

The squad list, confirmed by the French Football Federation (FFF), includes captain Kylian Mbappé. Goalkeeper Brice Samba of RC Lens has been called up, while Mike Maignan is absent due to injury. The selection features a mix of experienced players and younger talents, with the coach emphasizing the importance of these high-level tests.

In his press conference, Deschamps discussed the challenge of facing a Brazilian team in transition under new coach Dorival Júnior. He stated that these matches are crucial for evaluating players and building cohesion ahead of the team's next official objectives.

The friendlies will be played in American stadiums, continuing a tradition of the French team touring abroad during international breaks. The squad is scheduled to depart for the United States imminently to begin their training camp.
