Chad Michael Murray has commented on co-star Scott Patterson's departure from the drama series 'Sullivans Crossing'. In an interview with TV Insider, Murray confirmed that Patterson, who played Sully Sullivan, will not return for the show's upcoming fourth season.

Murray, who plays Cal Jones, stated that the writers will address the character's absence within the show's narrative. He emphasized that Sully's presence will continue to be felt, shaping the stories of the characters who remain in the small-town setting.

The actor expressed his personal fondness for Patterson, calling him a 'great guy'. The series, based on Robyn Carr's novels, films in Nova Scotia and follows a neurosurgeon who returns to her hometown. The fourth season is currently in production, with its premiere date yet to be announced by CTV and The CW.
