Business groups, miners, and the housing industry welcome the Albanese government's changes to the migration system, but farmers and the hospitality and tourism industries say they will make labour shortages worse.

Tony Burke, the minister for immigration, announced Labor's much-anticipated migration policy reforms on Thursday.
