Apple has announced that its annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) will return the week of June 8, 2026. The event will be held online and is free for all developers to attend.

The conference will showcase the latest updates to Apple's operating systems, including iOS, iPadOS, macOS, watchOS, and visionOS. Developers can expect previews of new tools, frameworks, and features ahead of public releases in the fall.

Apple states that the online format allows it to reach a global audience of over 36 million developers. The company will also host a special in-person experience at Apple Park in Cupertino, California, for select developers and students on June 9.

WWDC remains a key event for Apple's software ecosystem, setting the roadmap for its platforms. More details on sessions and how to watch will be provided as the date approaches.
