Zyxel Communications has announced the launch of new outdoor WiFi 6 access points specifically designed for managed service providers (MSPs). The new devices aim to deliver high-speed, reliable wireless connectivity in outdoor environments such as campuses, public parks, and smart city deployments.
The new access points support WiFi 6 (802.11ax) technology, offering improved capacity, efficiency, and performance in dense user environments. They are built to withstand harsh weather conditions with IP67-rated enclosures, ensuring durability against rain, dust, and extreme temperatures.
Zyxel's solution includes cloud-based management through its Nebula platform, allowing MSPs to remotely monitor, configure, and troubleshoot networks. This simplifies deployment and reduces operational costs for service providers managing multiple client sites.
The launch reflects the growing demand for robust outdoor wireless solutions as businesses and municipalities expand their digital infrastructure. Zyxel has not yet disclosed pricing or specific availability dates for the new products.
