A 35-year-old woman was found dead inside a room of a five-star hotel along Scotts Road early on Monday, 18 May 2026. The Singapore Police Force confirmed that they received a call for assistance at about 6:10 a.m. on that day.
Upon arrival, officers found the woman motionless in the hotel room. She was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics. Preliminary investigations indicate that no foul play is suspected, and the case is being treated as a non-criminal matter.
Photos shared with Shin Min Daily News by a reader showed at least three police vehicles and an ambulance outside the hotel. The identity of the woman has not been released, pending notification of her next of kin.
Police investigations are ongoing to determine the cause of death.
