A woman and her young child have died after getting into difficulty in the water at Elthorne Park in Ealing, west London, police have confirmed.

Officers were called to the park just before 4:30pm on Saturday, 25 April 2026, following reports of a woman and a boy in distress in the water. Both were recovered from the lake and taken to hospital, where they were later pronounced dead.
