William Daniels, 99, and Bonnie Bartlett, 96, have been married for 75 years, making them one of Hollywood's longest-lasting couples. In a recent interview, they shared the key to their enduring marriage: mutual respect and separate bathrooms.
Daniels, known for his roles in 'St. Elsewhere' and 'Boy Meets World,' and Bartlett, an Emmy-winning actress from 'St. Elsewhere,' have been together since 1951. They emphasize that giving each other space has been crucial.
'We have separate bathrooms, and that's saved our marriage,' Bartlett joked. Daniels added, 'Respect is the foundation. We never go to bed angry, and we always listen to each other.'
The couple, who met at the University of Michigan, have two sons. They continue to act occasionally and live in Los Angeles.
